EXPERIENCED GLAZIER - CHICAGOLAND - $25-35/HR DOE

Great Glass is hiring experienced glaziers for commercial and residential glass work throughout Chicagoland. We run steady year-round work and we pay weekly. If you know glass and show up, there is as much work here as you want.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Storefront, entrance doors, closers, hardware
• Insulated units, tempered glass, plate and annealed replacement
• Board-ups and emergency service calls
• Shower doors, mirrors, tabletops, residential glass
• Field measuring and deductions on your own jobs
• Some fabrication and glass handling in the shop

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years hands-on glazing experience
• Able to measure accurately and take your own deductions
• Comfortable running a job start to finish with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Own hand tools
• Can lift and handle glass safely with a partner
• Show up on time, communicate, do clean work

NICE TO HAVE (not required)

• Your own glass rack or glass truck
• A helper you already work with
• Aluminum storefront fabrication experience
• Commercial door hardware / panic device experience

WHAT WE OFFER

• $25-35/hr depending on experience
• Weekly pay
• Consistent year-round schedule - we are not seasonal
• Overtime available
• Work across the Chicago metro - we will keep you within reasonable range
• Straightforward management. No games, no runaround on pay.

We are also open to subcontract glaziers with their own truck and rack. If that's you, say so on the application and list your rate.
