Experienced Handyman / Carpenter — Steady Part-Time Work — $25+/hr

Sioux Falls hotel property is looking for an experienced, dependable person to help with ongoing repairs, maintenance and improvement projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys fixing things and wants steady flexible part-time work without having to find customers, bid projects or run a contracting business.

Typical work includes:

Carpentry and trim repairs

Door and hardware adjustments
Drywall patching and minor wall repairs
Painting and touch-ups
Caulking and weatherproofing
Furniture and fixture repairs
Flooring and baseboard repairs
Minor exterior repairs
General property maintenance
Small improvement projects

We are primarily looking for someone with good mechanical ability, practical judgment and pride in their workmanship. You do not need to know how to do everything. Work requiring licensed specialty contractors will continue to be handled by licensed trades.

Schedule: Approximately 15–25 hours per week, with substantial scheduling flexibility.

Compensation: Approximately $25 per hour depending on skills and experience.

We provide materials and reimburse approved property-related expenses. The property has an ongoing list of projects, so this can provide steady work rather than occasional one-time jobs.

Ideal candidates will be dependable, able to work independently, communicate clearly about repairs, and know when a project is outside their area of expertise.
