Maxwell Tribeca is looking for a skilled, reliable, and proactive Handyman for on-call and side-work assignments. If you currently work in the trades but are looking to pick up extra hours and steady, direct-pay projects on the side, we want to connect with you!
We have immediate general maintenance needs, as well as specific upcoming refresh and build-out projects across our event and hospitality spaces.

1) Responsibilities:
-Perform general repairs, installations, touch-ups, and maintenance on-site on an as-needed basis.
-Painting: Wall, trim, and door painting, plus post-event touch-ups
-Wallpaper: Hang, patch, and repair wallcoverings; seam repair and matched patching on existing paper.
-Drywall & Surface Repair: Patch holes, skim-coat, sand, and finish walls to a clean, paint-ready standard.
-Light Carpentry: Build and install shelving and trim, assemble and repair furniture, adjust doors, hinges, and hardware.
-Mounting & Installation: Hang art, mirrors, signage, and light fixtures securely and level.
-Basic Fixes: Handle minor plumbing and electrical tasks (faucets, fixtures, switches, bulbs) and flag anything requiring a licensed trade.

2) Requirements:
-Proven practical experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or finish carpentry.
-Strong finish quality — this is a design-forward space and the work needs to look it.
-Specific experience with painting and wallpaper installation strongly preferred.
-Highly resourceful, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
-Availability: Flexible for part-time assignments, specific projects, and on-call requests.
-Must have your own tools and reliable transportation to Tribeca.
