Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator

NW Construction General Contracting, Inc. is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. Work includes a mix of local and occasional out-of-town projects.

We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work, operate equipment safely and efficiently, and are willing to assist crews on the ground when needed.

Strong excavator experience is highly preferred.

Position Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently

Excavation, trenching, grading, and site work
Loading trucks and material handling
Demolition and asphalt/concrete removal
Utility and pipe work
Assisting crews on the ground when needed
Working around active construction sites and underground utilities
Following project and safety requirements at all times

Preferred Equipment Experience

Excavator (highly preferred)

Dozer
Dump truck
Roller
Haul truck
Vactor truck
Sweeper
Skid steer

Additional Preferred Experience

Grade checking

Pipe laying
Topcon / Trimble / GPS systems
Utility excavation and trenching
CESCL certification and other certifications are a plus

Pay & Benefits

Competitive pay: $28+/hr DOE

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have experience listed above
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain all background screening, security, and site-access approvals required to perform work under NW Construction's client contracts and master service agreements.
