EXPERIENCED HVAC INSTALLER – $25-$32/HR + COMPANY TRUCK

Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience required.

Pay: $25.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and ability.

Advantage Air Mechanical is hiring an experienced HVAC Installer to join our Tucson installation team.

We are looking for someone who can perform residential HVAC installations correctly and efficiently without needing to be taught the basics. You should be comfortable with complete system replacements, ductwork, refrigerant piping, electrical connections, controls, startup, and troubleshooting installation-related issues.

Responsibilities

Install residential split systems, package units, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment
Perform complete system change-outs and replacements
Install and modify ductwork
Correctly measure ductwork and fittings needed for fabrication
Draw clear, accurate duct layouts and fitting sketches for the sheet-metal shop
Install refrigerant piping, condensate piping, electrical wiring, thermostats, and controls
Braze, evacuate, charge, start up, and commission systems
Verify equipment is operating correctly before leaving the job
Maintain a clean and professional work area
Communicate professionally with homeowners and the office
Work with helpers and other installers to keep projects on schedule
Follow company installation standards and applicable codes
Experience Required

Applicants should have at least 5 years of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience and be knowledgeable in:

Residential air-conditioning and heat-pump systems

Split systems and package units
Refrigerant piping and brazing
Measuring and laying out residential duct systems
Drawing ductwork and fittings accurately for fabrication
Ductwork installation
Electrical wiring and HVAC controls
System startup and troubleshooting
Proper evacuation and refrigerant charging
