Experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Sew pre-cut material components to create finished products, including truck covers, bus covers, armrests, and other assigned items.
Apply knowledge of material properties and stretch characteristics to ensure proper fit, appearance, and durability of finished products.
Determine and execute the most efficient and effective sewing sequence for assembling components.
Maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process and inspect work to ensure specifications are met.
Communicate production concerns, quality issues, and material defects promptly, while assisting in identifying and implementing solutions.
Accurately read, interpret, and follow process sheets, work instructions, and production schedules.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company standards.
Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience operating industrial sewing machines preferred.
Strong understanding of sewing techniques and material handling.
Ability to read and interpret production documents and work instructions.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
