Experienced Journeyman Electrician

Location: Inland Empire, CA

Harbor Electrical Services is seeking an experienced **Journeyman Electrician** who is passionate about troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving electrical problems. We are looking for a technician who can work independently, think critically, and deliver quality workmanship in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

This is **not** an entry-level installation position. We are looking for a true service electrician who can identify problems quickly and perform lasting repairs.

## Compensation

**$30–$35 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)**

Higher compensation may be available for candidates who demonstrate exceptional troubleshooting, diagnostic, and leadership abilities.

## Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum **4 years of electrical experience**
• Valid California Driver's License with a **clean driving record (required)**
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

## Required Experience & Skills

• Advanced electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems
• Diagnosing electrical shorts and power loss issues
• Three-phase power systems
• Motors, motor controls, and industrial equipment troubleshooting
• Lighting controls, switching systems, and lighting repairs
• Residential service calls and electrical repairs
• Service upgrades and panel replacements
• EV charger installations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Proficient in the proper use of multimeters, clamp meters, and electrical testing equipment
• Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and complete quality repairs the first time

## Hiring Process

Qualified applicants will be invited to participate in an interview that includes a **paid, hands-on troubleshooting test**. Candidates will be asked to diagnose and explain real-world electrical faults to demonstrate their troubleshooting skills, code knowledge, meter usage, and overall technical ability.
