Experienced Landscaper

We are looking for an experienced, dependable landscaper/grounds maintenance person to help maintain a well-established senior mobile home community with lots of mature trees, hills, landscaped areas, and common grounds.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in keeping a property clean, safe, attractive, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

Maintain lawns, landscaping, trees, shrubs, and common areas

Mow, edge, weed, trim, blow, rake, and perform general yard cleanup

Trim and prune trees and bushes as needed

Remove leaves, branches, weeds, and other debris

Maintain areas around mobile homes, roads, walkways, and common spaces

Help keep hills, slopes, and drainage areas clear and maintained

Identify and report potential safety hazards or property issues

Perform minor general maintenance and repairs around the community

Assist with irrigation/watering systems and basic troubleshooting

Operate landscaping equipment safely and properly

Help keep the property looking neat and welcoming for our senior residents

Other grounds and maintenance duties as needed

Qualifications:

Previous landscaping or grounds-maintenance experience required

Experience maintaining properties with mature trees and hills/slopes preferred

Able to safely operate lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment

Basic maintenance/handyman skills are a plus

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Good attention to detail

Able to perform physical outdoor work, including bending, lifting, walking on uneven ground, and working on slopes

Must take safety seriously, particularly when working around residents and their homes

Important: This is a temporary full-time position to start, with the possibility of becoming a long-term/permanent position based on the needs of the community and the employee’s performance, reliability, and fit.
