Job Description

(Not meant to be all-inclusive)

• Perform and complete a variety of complex concrete cutting and core drilling projects in both residential and commercial settings.
• Operate flat saws, core drills, wall saws, hand saws, demolition tools, and other related equipment.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and strictly follow all company safety policies and job site requirements (safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, vests, etc.).
• Commute in a company service truck to multiple job sites daily.
• Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily and weekly truck and equipment maintenance checklists.
• Inspect tools and equipment prior to use; promptly report issues or needed repairs.
• Assess job sites before starting work to determine layout, tools, and methods required.
• Communicate effectively with leadership when facing potential work stoppages or unique challenges.
• Prepare job sites for cutting/coring and ensure complete cleanup after each project.
• Manage workflow and balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Think creatively to solve “one-off” or complex job situations.
• Accurately document completed work and materials used for billing purposes.
• Work safely and effectively in various environmental conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for most of the workday.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in concrete and asphalt cutting, coring, and demolition.
• Proficient in the operation of:
• Core Drill
• Slab Saw
• Wall Saw
• Flush Cutting
• Hand Saw
• Jackhammer
• Experience operating service trucks and truck/trailer combinations safely.
• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills.
