Experienced Lingerie & Stretch-Knit Sample Maker Needed — Paid Project

Los Angeles–based emerging intimates brand is seeking an experienced sample sewer to construct women’s underwear, thongs, and lightweight crop tops from completed patterns.

Patternmaking is not required. Patterns and materials will be provided. This is a paid project with potential for ongoing sample sewing and small-batch production.

Required experience:

• Lingerie, underwear, swimwear, activewear, or stretch-knit garments
• Polyester/spandex performance jersey
• Applying binding and elastic with consistent tension
• Clean cotton-gusset construction
• Following completed patterns and sewing specifications accurately

Required equipment:

• Double-needle coverstitch: 3/16–1/4-inch stitch width
• Overlock/serger: 1/4–3/8-inch seam width
• Cover-binding setup with binder attachment: 1/4–3/8-inch finished binding
• Double-needle binding stitch: 3/16–1/4-inch width

Finished samples must lie flat and stretch without popped stitches, rippling, puckering, twisting, or binding that digs into the body.
