Maintenance Technician (Afternoon/Evening Shift)
Schedule: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (flexible)
Training Start Time for First Week in Role: 4:00 AM
Pay Range: $25–$45 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our food processing and packaging operations. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical abilities, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Operate at an apprentice level while learning all plant equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation in the CMMS system
- Follow all safety standards, SOPs, quality guidelines, and HACCP regulations
- Support continuous improvement and minimize equipment downtime
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience in a food or beverage plant
- 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
- Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to use trade tools safely and correctly
- Ability to lift 50 lbs intermittently
- Strong decision making skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Detail oriented and proactive individuals
