Experienced Mechanic

Local construction company looking to hire experienced diesel/heavy equipment mechanic. Experienced with Kenworth, Mack and Peterbilt dump trucks, tractors, light duty trucks, and trailers. We do private along with prevailing wage projects, so pay may be based on the municipality, where mechanic is required to work on site.
Knowledge of Cat, Volvo, Bob Cat, Vogele, Lee Boy Pavers and John Deer equipment would be desired.
Ideal candidate would have some welding skills as well.
Job duties include routine Maintenance, such as changing oils, more extensive repairs to engines and hydraulic systems. Maintenance of trailers and other construction equipment.
Candidate would have a can-do attitude, be punctual, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, and have a clean driving record. Also have the ability to obtain a Twic card and clean record allowing to access military bases.
Successful candidate will have a 90-day probation and will also complete MSHA certification allowing to make equipment repairs used in a active mine.
Medical and dental offered after 90 days.
Wage depends on experience.
Pay range is $35 to $60 per hour
