Experienced Mini-Split HVAC Installer
Description
Cactus Comfort Systems is looking for an experienced HVAC installer to handle high-quality residential ductless mini-split installations in the East Valley.
This is a part-time / as-needed position to start, with the opportunity for more hours and potentially a full-time lead installer position as we grow.
Our company specializes primarily in residential garage mini-split installations. This is not a traditional HVAC service-tech position.
What You'll Be Doing:
Install ductless mini-split systems from start to finish
Mount indoor and outdoor equipment
Run and connect refrigerant line sets
Pressure test with nitrogen
Pull proper vacuum using a micron gauge
Handle refrigerant and commission systems
Install condensate drainage
Make required HVAC electrical connections
Install line-hide neatly and professionally
Prep and paint exterior line-hide to closely match the customer's home
Start up and test completed systems
Maintain a clean, professional jobsite
Communicate professionally with homeowners
Be willing to train fellow employees
We put a strong emphasis on the finished appearance of every installation. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and doesn't consider the job finished until it looks as good as it performs.
Qualifications:
Professional HVAC installation experience
Strong hands-on mini-split installation experience
Able to independently complete a mini-split installation from start to finish
EPA 608 certification
Experienced with vacuum pumps, micron gauges, nitrogen testing, refrigerant handling, flaring/brazing, and commissioning
Good understanding of HVAC electrical systems
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Dependable and professional
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Experience with Mitsubishi, Daikin, Fujitsu, Gree, Midea, Pioneer, or similar ductless systems is a plus.

Pay: $38–$45/hour depending on experience and ability
