Experienced Painter & Light Maintenance

Brush & Beam Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Paint & Resurfacing Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in multifamily and residential painting, tub and tile resurfacing, unit turns, and property improvement services throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Position Summary
The Paint & Resurfacing Technician performs interior and exterior painting, tub and tile resurfacing, surface preparation, masking, coating application, drywall repairs, and related finishing services. This position requires a strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Essential Duties

• Interior and exterior painting
• Tub, shower, countertop, and tile resurfacing/refinishing
• Surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
• Minor drywall patching and repair
• Color matching and finish application
• Job site setup and cleanup
• Safely operate ladders and painting equipment
• Maintain company quality and safety standards
• Communicate professionally with property managers, residents, and team members

Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 3+ years of verifiable professional painting experience in residential and multifamily- this is Required
· Preferred experience in the following:
-Tub and tile resurfacing experience strongly preferred.

• Complete apartment turns and punch list items
• Perform general maintenance and light construction repairs
• Drywall patching, texturing, and minor framing repairs
• Interior finish carpentry including baseboards, trim, doors, and hardware
• Install and repair cabinets, shelving, countertops, and fixtures
• Flooring repairs and installation (LVP, laminate, transitions, and trim)
• Install and replace light fixtures, ceiling fans, smoke detectors, and basic electrical devices
• Perform basic plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, drains, and fixture replacement
• Install blinds, mirrors, bathroom accessories, and miscellaneous hardware
• Caulking, sealing, weatherproofing, and touch-up repairs
• Job site setup, cleanup, and material management
• Maintain company quality, safety, and customer service standards
• Communicate professionally with property managers, residents, vendors, and team members

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Ability to safely use ladders and painting equipment

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass pre-employment and/or random drug testing
• Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must own and maintain a basic set of professional painting and preparation tools, including hand tools necessary for daily work. Brush & Beam will provide ladders, sprayers, specialty resurfacing equipment, and other company-owned equipment as needed.
