Experienced Production Finish Carpenter – $35+/HR DOE

A local finish carpentry company serving the Portland/Vancouver area is looking to add an experienced production Full Time finish carpenter to our team.

Starting pay: $35+/hour, depending on experience. M-F.

We are specifically looking for someone with 5+ years of professional finish carpentry experience who can step into the role and be productive with minimal training.

- EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR -
Applicants should have substantial hands-on experience with production finish carpentry, including:

• Interior door installation
• Baseboard and casing
• Window trim
• Shelving and built-ins
• General interior finish carpentry

Please Note:

• This position is specifically for experienced finish carpenters. Experience in framing, cabinetry, flooring, drywall, painting, or other trades is valuable, but we are looking for candidates whose primary background includes at least 5 years of professional finish carpentry experience and only those will be considered for this role. *
• REQUIREMENTS -

• 5+ years of professional finish carpentry experience
• Strong production speed while maintaining quality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Able to work throughout the Portland/Vancouver metro area
• Willingness to complete occasional short-term travel when required
• Valid driver's license and relatively clean driving record
• Must be drug-free
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must provide basic personal hand tools

After an initial phone conversation with our on-site manager, you will be asked to complete a "working interview" which is paid and typically lasts between 1-2 days. This is to help both us and yourself determine whether we are a good fit in working together as well as assess your skillset. Based off of this performance interview the PM will offer you an hourly pay. If you accept, the final step is an in-person interview to get to know each other better, answer any questions, and determine whether this is a good cultural and mutually-beneficial fit.
