Epic Interiors & Construction Inc. is an established residential remodeling and reconstruction company seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Project Manager / Working Foreman to join our team.
We're looking for a skilled construction professional who can lead by example, manage day-to-day project operations, and work alongside the crew to deliver quality results. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and has the experience to keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.
THIS IS A HANDS-ON LEADERSHIP POSITION, NOT A SUPERVISORY-ONLY ROLE.
We need someone who knows the trades, can confidently manage a job site, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the work done.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform hands-on residential remodeling and reconstruction work alongside the crew.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate field employees and subcontractors.
- Read and interpret construction plans, scopes of work, specifications, and measurements.
- Organize daily job-site activities, schedules, labor, and materials to maintain project progress.
- Perform and oversee drywall, painting, finish carpentry, cabinetry, trim work, and general residential repairs.
- Inspect workmanship and completed projects to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Troubleshoot construction challenges, make sound field decisions, and minimize unnecessary delays.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, management, crew members, and subcontractors.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Coordinate final details, punch lists, and project completion.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of solid, hands-on residential construction experience. 5+ years strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading construction crews, coordinating projects, or working in a foreman or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of residential remodeling, drywall, painting, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and general construction practices.
- Working familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and other residential trades.
- Ability to accurately read scopes of work, plans, measurements, and construction specifications.
- Skilled in the proper use of construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems without constant supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Dependable, punctual, motivated, and comfortable working as part of a small team.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to perform the essential physical duties of residential construction, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
POSITION DETAILS
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Occasional weekend work as needed.
- Residential remodeling, repairs, and reconstruction following water or mold damage.
- Job sites located throughout Orange County.
- Company vehicle arrangements may be negotiable depending on experience.
- Immediate opening for the right candidate.
