EXPERIENCED RESIDENTIAL HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN — WESTERN NY

An established Western New York plumbing, heating, and cooling company is seeking an experienced residential HVAC service technician with strong diagnostic skills, technical knowledge, and customer communication abilities.

We need someone who can troubleshoot confidently, work independently, and clearly explain repair and replacement options to homeowners. Understanding service sales and earning the customer’s trust are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair residential furnaces, boilers, and air conditioning systems.
• Explain findings and present repair or replacement options.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, maintenance, and improved comfort.
• Complete accurate service notes and maintain professional workmanship.
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and management.

Qualifications:

• Strong, proven residential HVAC service experience.
• Thorough understanding of electrical troubleshooting, controls, and heating and cooling systems.
• Ability to recommend solutions and confidently discuss pricing and value.
• Reliable attendance, professional appearance, and a valid driver’s license.

This position is for an experienced service technician who can handle calls independently.
