$27–$35/Hour + Overtime/Weekends/Emergency Services| NYC

An NYC restoration company is hiring a dependable, motivated technician to help restore homes and businesses affected by water damage, mold, fire, and smoke.
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through, and cares about doing the job right. You’ll work alongside a crew that values safety, teamwork, and respect for clients’ properties.
PAY & EARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Starting pay: $26.50/hour
$30–$35/hour for experienced technicians with relevant certifications
Overtime paid at 1.5× your regular hourly rate
Additional earning opportunities may be available through emergency assignments, including evening, weekend, and overnight work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Assist with water mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, controlled demolition, equipment setup, and specialized cleaning.
Responsibilities also include protecting clients’ belongings, keeping work areas organized, handling equipment responsibly, and documenting job progress through photos and work updates.
WHAT YOU NEED
Able to communicate with coworkers and clients and understand work thoroughly and restoration protocols. English and Spanish speaking preferred but not mandatory.
A valid driver’s license: Able to drive company vehicles safely to job sites.
Reliability and initiative: Arrive on time, come prepared, stay productive, and communicate consistently.
Attention to detail: Follow procedures, work safely, welcome feedback, and take pride in the results.
Experience in water mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, demolition, or construction is preferred. Include any relevant certifications when applying.
SCHEDULE & EMERGENCY RESPONSE
A standard daytime shift is 8 hours, including a 30-minute unpaid, duty-free lunch break—7.5 paid working hours.
Availability for overtime, occasional weekends, and emergency service assignments is required. This includes evening and overnight assignments when scheduled for on-call coverage.
During assigned coverage, you must remain reachable, answer emergency service calls promptly, and be prepared to report to the job site. Flexibility and dependable communication are essential.
