Experienced Rough Frame Carpenter

**Kaiser Roofing** is hiring an **experienced Rough / Frame Carpenter** to join our team. We’re looking for someone who knows residential framing, can work efficiently without constant supervision, and takes pride in doing the job right.

WORK IS LOCATED THROUGHOUT OAKLAND COUNTY

This is **not an entry-level position**. We are looking for someone with proven hands-on framing and structural carpentry experience.

## Responsibilities

• Residential rough framing and structural carpentry
• Frame walls, floors, roofs, openings, and other structural components
• Repair and replace damaged roof framing, including rafters, trusses, decking, and related components
• Perform structural repairs associated with roofing and exterior projects
• Read measurements, layouts, and basic plans
• Safely use saws, nail guns, ladders, and standard framing tools
• Identify framing or structural issues and communicate them to the project manager
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

## Requirements

• **Minimum 3 years of rough/frame carpentry experience preferred**
• Strong residential framing experience
• Must be comfortable working at heights and on roofs
• Must understand proper framing techniques and structural connections
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, lay out, and assemble framing
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be dependable and show up on time
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Professional attitude and good communication
• Valid driver's license preferred

## What We're Looking For

We want a carpenter who can walk onto a jobsite, understand what needs to be done, and get to work. You should be comfortable handling everything from straightforward framing repairs to more involved structural carpentry.

**Quality and reliability matter.** We're looking for experienced tradespeople—not someone learning framing for the first time.
