Experienced Screen Print Artist / Sep Santa Fe Springs, CA (Full-Time)

The Print Company is hiring an artist who knows how to prepare art for screen printing, not just design it.

You should be able to:

Build and clean up vector art in Adobe Illustrator

Do spot color separations, underbases, chokes and traps
Create halftones and simulated process separations (Photoshop)
Prepare film output or print-ready files for the press
Make customer mockups and proofs, and fix low-quality customer art
Work with the printers to make sure art prints the way it looks on screen

Nice to have: experience with RIP software, DTF/DTG and embroidery file prep, and helping with scheduling or production flow.

Pay: $–$/hr or salary, depending on experience.
