Journeyman Plumber — Commercial Service & Repair

We're Fault Line Plumbing. We do commercial service and repair in San Francisco.

The Work

We are looking for a non-commissioned, hourly service plumber who can clear drains, repair fixtures, troubleshoot and resolve standard plumbing problems, find and repair leaks on water, gas and sanitary sewer piping, troubleshoot and repair basic water heater problems and is willing to share their knowledge and grow the team they are part of.

Our customers are commercial, multi-family and institutional properties: no homeowners, no COD, no upsells, no collections. You are expected to communicate in detail to the office but no one else. We provide a vehicle with a contractor parking sticker so you don't have to worry about where you park (most places). You will be required to be on call for one weekday per week and one weekend per month. We have an Alternate Work Schedule so some positions are eligible for 4x10s.

What We're Looking For
6+ years journeyman experience in service plumbing and drain cleaning
Fair amount of code knowledge, especially as it applies to sanitary sewer
Backflow certification is a plus, not a requirement
Someone who takes pride in doing it right, not just doing it fast
A team player — our crew is diverse but also tight-knit and we need to keep it that way
