5th Generation Plumbing is a growing, family-owned plumbing company serving the entire Sacramento and surrounding communities. We’re looking for an experienced plumber who can confidently run residential service calls, diagnose plumbing problems, communicate clearly with homeowners, and take pride in doing the job right.
Compensation: $32–$45/hour DOE. Starting rate will be based on experience and demonstrated skill level, with a performance and pay review after 90 days. Company service van provided.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years professional plumbing experience
- Residential service and repair experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Must have your own basic hand tools
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience with water heaters, drains, sewer systems, leaks, fixtures, water lines and general plumbing repairs
- Comfortable working with copper, PEX, PVC and ABS
- Able to work independently and manage service calls
- Professional and respectful with customers
- Dependable, punctual and organized
- Takes pride in clean, quality workmanship
- Company service van

We’re not looking for someone who simply knows how to replace parts.
We’re looking for a plumber who can walk into a customer’s home, listen to the problem, diagnose what’s actually happening, explain their options clearly, and complete quality work without needing someone looking over their shoulder.
