Express Sign & Graphics is seeking an experienced, motivated Sign Installer/Fabricator to join our growing team. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoy working both in the shop and in the field, and have a passion for creating exceptional signage, we’d love to hear from you.
This position offers a variety of work every day, from fabricating signs in our production facility to installing projects at customer locations throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
Responsibilities
• Install a wide variety of interior and exterior signs, including:
o Post and panel signs
o Wall-mounted dimensional letters and logos
o Acrylic signs
o Window graphics and lettering
o Wall murals and graphics
o ADA signage
o Vinyl graphics and decals
o Truck Lettering
o Truck Wrap install experience a plus
- Apply vinyl graphics accurately and efficiently to a variety of substrates.
- Perform site surveys and verify field measurements for a variety of signs. Must be familiar with surveying for installation of electrical signs.
- Assist with sign fabrication, assembly, finishing, and packaging.
- Read shop drawings, work orders, and installation plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate company vehicles and installation equipment safely.
- Communicate professionally with customers while representing the company on job sites.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and ensure projects are completed to the highest quality standards.
- 3–5 years of professional sign installation and/or sign fabrication experience.
- Experience applying vinyl graphics without bubbles, wrinkles, or alignment issues.
- Familiarity with common sign materials including aluminum, ACM, PVC, acrylic, vinyl, and wood.
- Ability to safely use power tools and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read construction drawings and accurately take field measurements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Lift and carry 50–100 pounds safely.
- Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
- Work from ladders and perform installations at varying heights.
- Work indoors and outdoors in all seasonal weather conditions.
