Experienced Smog Technician Wanted - Full-Time Position | Westminster, CA
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Smog Check Technician to join our growing team!
We are a busy, established auto repair shop seeking a skilled technician who can perform smog inspections efficiently, accurately, and professionally. We offer steady work, competitive pay, and a friendly, team-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform smog inspections on domestic and foreign vehicles
- Conduct emissions testing in accordance with California BAR regulations
- Operate smog testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Accurately document and submit smog inspection results
- Identify emissions-related issues and explain results to customers
- Maintain smog equipment and a clean, organized work area
- Assist with general automotive repairs and diagnostics when qualified
- Must have a valid California BAR Smog Check Inspector License
- Smog Check Repair Technician License is a PLUS!
- Previous smog testing experience preferred
- Knowledge of California emissions regulations and testing procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- General automotive repair experience is a plus!
