Experienced Tailor / Seamstress - Alterations (Crabtree Valley Mall)

Lee's Tailor Shop at Crabtree Valley Mall is hiring two experienced production tailors / seamstresses / alterations specialists.

This is an in-shop role focused on production. Customer fittings are not part of the job. We provide steady volume, marked garments, and written instructions, and you focus on clean, accurate alterations.

PAY: W-2 commission position. Each alteration task has a set work value, and you earn 50% of that value for completed work. Experienced full-time tailors here often earn $60,000-$70,000 a year, and many earn more. Earnings vary with speed, quality, availability, and volume.

SCHEDULE: 4-5 days per week, in shop.

THE WORK: hems, tapering, waist adjustments, sleeves, zippers, repairs, dresses, jackets, and formalwear, depending on your skills. You follow marked instructions and ticket notes, work efficiently while keeping quality high, and protect customer garments.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR: professional alterations experience, quality-focused, reliable for 4-5 days a week. English is preferred but not required - work is communicated through marked garments.

TRAIN-TO-HIRE: We're also looking for one person who already has solid sewing basics and wants to learn production alterations. We train you, and once you're fully trained you join the team. Pay starts out good once you're fully trained and grows as you gain experience. Mention it when you apply.
