Experienced Tree Climbers
Description
If you love working outdoors, hanging out in the canopy, and running production with a crew that actually has your backākeep reading.
We are expanding our crews and looking for experienced, safety-first Tree Climbers who want a career, not just a paycheck. We don't do micromanagement or office politics. We do high-quality, safe tree care, and we reward our people for hitting goals.
Ready to level up? Weāve got a $500 Sign-On Bonus waiting for qualified new hires.
š ļø What Youāll Actually Be Doing
Canopy Work: Safely and efficiently climbing, rigging, and executing high-quality prunes and technical removals.
Removals vs. Preservation: Knowing the difference between piecing out a massive, hazardous takedown over a roof and doing a fine precision trim to keep a prize tree healthy. You can read the tree's structure and spot hazards before making a cut.
Gear Respect: Operating and maintaining top-tier climbing gear, rigging systems, and chainsaws. You take care of the gear, the gear takes care of you.
Teamwork: Jumping in to support the ground crew when needed. We operate with zero egos hereāeveryone helps win the day.
Communication: Talking like a pro with clients, crew members, and the production manager so everyone is on the same page.
Safety First: Staying strictly aligned with company policies and ANSI safety guidelines. We want everyone going home with the same number of fingers they started with.
šŖ What We Need From You
Real Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional production climbing experience. (No weekend warriors, please).
Rope Mastery: Strong knowledge of climbing techniques, including SRT (Single Rope Technique) and DRT (Double Rope Technique).
Rigging IQ: Familiarity with a variety of rigging systems and strategies to drop wood safely without smashing targets.
Grit & Fitness: Excellent physical fitness and the ability to work at significant heights in whatever weather Ohio throws at us.
The Basics: A valid driverās license and reliable transportation to the yard. (If you have a CDL, you're an immediate rockstar).
ISA Certification or Tree Worker Specialist credentials are a huge plus, but if you have the skills and the right attitude, we want to talk to you.
