Experienced Wall & Ceiling Upholstery Fabricator/Installer

Maxwell Social is a private members club and event venue looking for a reliable, skilled specialist to call on for projects around the space, as they come up.

1) Responsibilities:

-First one up is ceiling upholstery: fabric over batting installed overhead. Guest-facing, so seams and corners matter.

-Ensure flawless execution in a guest-facing environment, where attention to seams and corners really matters.

-Assist with future varied projects as they arise, including millwork touch-ups, banquette repairs, hanging and mounting, patching, and small builds.

2) Requirements:

-Proven hands-on experience in tented ceilings, upholstered walls, fabric wallcovering, or theatrical soft goods (if you have done this, the first project is squarely your thing).

-Strong attention to detail and high quality standards.

-Must carry insurance or be able to provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance).

-Flexible availability: Logistics dictate that work happens around our events calendar (typically weekday mornings, off-nights, or overnight shifts). Note: We are conveniently located on the ground floor.
