Window & Door Installer (Subcontractor)
Description
S&K Roofing, Siding & Windows is looking for experienced subcontracted window and door installation crews for steady work in Central Maryland and Northern Virginia.
We’re an established exterior remodeling company looking to add reliable, experienced installers who take pride in their work and want to build a long-term relationship with a company that keeps jobs organized and materials ready to go.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Window and exterior door removal and installation
- Aluminum trim/coil work
- Jobsite setup, protection, cleanup and haul-away
- Completing installations to S&K’s quality and safety standards
- Providing professional, respectful service in our customers’ homes
- Minimum 3 years of window and door installation experience
- Must carry appropriate insurance
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Vehicle/trailer capable of transporting large windows or approximately 15–20 standard windows
- Lead-safe / lead dust control certification
- All necessary installation tools and equipment, including:
- Ladders up to 40’
- Aluminum trim coil brake
- Spray foam insulation gun
- Ability to provide references and examples/photos of previous work
- Reliable communication and ability to complete jobs on schedule
- Clean, professional workmanship and respect for customers’ homes
S&K stages jobs with the necessary materials ready for pickup at our office. We provide aluminum coil, caulk, foam/cleaner, and required framing and trim materials.
You bring the crew, tools, experience and craftsmanship; we work to keep you supplied with organized jobs and steady work.
This is subcontractor/1099 work, not an employee position.
