Experienced Wood Worker

We’re on the hunt for a full-time furniture builder. We need a key player on our build team, working on custom furniture that demands technical skill and strong time management.

Key Responsibilities

-Build and restore high-end furniture pieces to exacting standards
-Must be willing to assist with installs in the field when needed
-Execute advanced woodworking techniques, including mortise-and-tenon, dovetail, and miter joints
-Shape, sand, and finish wood surfaces with precision and artistry
-Read and interpret design plans, blueprints, and custom specs
-Repair and reinforce furniture frames, legs, drawers, and structural components
-Select and work with a variety of hardwoods and veneers

Qualifications

-Minimum 3+ years of professional woodworking experience (preferably in high-end or custom furniture)
-Experience with wood finishing techniques (staining, sealing, lacquering, oiling)
-Comfortable using hand tools and power tools (chisels, routers, planers, table saws, etc.)
-Knowledge of wood types, grain patterns, and material behavior
-Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship (tight joints, smooth finishes, balanced proportions)
-Physical stamina and dexterity (lifting heavy wood, standing for long periods, precise handwork)
-Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
