Exterior Painter Needed – 2-Story Garage/Ohana in Haiku – $5,500 Labor

Looking for a reliable, experienced exterior painter to repaint a two-story garage/ohana in Haiku. Pay is $5,500 total for labor, paid in two parts:

$1,500 when the primer coat is complete on all surfaces
$4,000 when the project is 100% complete

Scope of work (in this order):

Pressure wash all painted surfaces, including rain gutters

Apply one full primer coat (roll and brush) to all painted surfaces and gutters
Apply first finish coat (roll and brush), then allow a few days to fully dry
Apply second finish coat (roll and brush)

What I provide: All paint and materials, plus some ladders and scaffolding. Having your own ladders and tools is a big plus.

Requirements:

Proven exterior painting experience (photos of past work or references appreciated)
-Clean, careful work: drop cloths used throughout, no drips or sloppy edges
-Completely comfortable and safe working on tall ladders and high roofs
-Full-time commitment: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, weather permitting, until the job is done. No skipping days mid-week when the surf is up. I need someone who will see this through start to finish.
-Zero tolerance for alcohol, drugs, smoking, or showing up hungover
-1099 subcontractor position
-Commercial liability insurance preferred. If you don't carry it, I'll cover the cost of a one-month policy for this project.
