Facilities Support (Custodial/Janitorial) Position Offered

About this position

SeeScan is looking for a Facilities Support team member to join our Facilities department. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a safe, orderly, and clean working environment. As needed, you will also help set up a productive environment for office meetings and functions.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., fully onsite in Kearny Mesa. This position pays $20-$23/hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial work, including:
  • Clean offices, including vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash
  • Clean break room and surrounding areas, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms
  • Clean windows and mirrors as needed
• Empty trash cans and replace liners, and clean receptacles as necessary
• Report safety issues, repair needs, and any other facility deficiencies to supervisor
• Monitor the inventory of janitorial, office and conference supplies and report supplies needed to supervisor
• Close buildings and set alarm
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all department staff and other SeeScan employees

Qualifications

• One year of commercial cleaning experience desired
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques, and standards
• Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. (items over 50 lbs. will require team lift)
