Facility and Plant Mechanic

Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Plant Mechanic for a food processing facility located in Everett, WA. Starting pay is $25–$35 per hour. This is a full-time, permanent, Day Shift position working 5:00 a.m. until work is completed (typically up to 6:00 p.m.).

The Plant Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the smooth, reliable operation of equipment and machinery within the facility, including troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and general facility upkeep.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Overseeing and maintaining production line equipment 

Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems 
Performing preventive maintenance and maintaining accurate documentation 
Repairing electrical cords, outlets, and equipment following manuals and safety procedures 
Performing light welding, cooling system maintenance, and general physical labor 
Assisting with facility maintenance tasks such as painting, woodwork, and general repairs 
Working independently to identify and resolve maintenance needs
