Farm Equipment / Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Everde Growers is hiring a dependable Farm Equipment / Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Canal Point, FL location. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys working on a variety of machinery, we want to talk to you.

THE ROLE

• Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Environment: Covered shop.
• Requirement: Qualified candidates must provide their own tools.
• Core Tasks: Preventive maintenance and repair for our John Deere tractor fleet, skid steers, loaders, utility vehicles (Gators), and Ford/Chevy trucks.
• Key Duties: Diagnosing mechanical/hydraulic/electrical/engine issues, routine service (oil, brakes, tires), and maintaining accurate repair logs.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience in ag, heavy equipment, diesel, construction, or fleet maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot independently.
• Ability to perform physical work (lifting 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, outdoor work).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
