Farm Equipment & Maintenance Mechanic

Full-Time / Year-Round / Wage negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

We’re looking for an experienced mechanic to join our nursery team. This is a hands-on, year-round position that includes farm equipment repair and maintenance, general facility maintenance, and a variety of other projects around the nursery properties. If you enjoy troubleshooting, repairing equipment, working independently and having variety in your workday, we'd like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment, vehicles and machinery
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical problems
• Repair or replace worn and damaged parts
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper and safe operation
• Use service manuals and parts information to assist with repairs
• Maintain repair and service records
• Occasionally assist with moving equipment and/or nursery stock

What We're Looking For:

• 2-4 years of mechanical experience preferred
• Experience repairing farm, diesel, automotive, construction or similar equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical issues
• Comfortable lifting, bending, and occasionally moving 50+ lbs
• Ability to read service manuals and follow safety procedures
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable, self-motivated and able to work independently
