Overview:The Fence Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient transportion, installion, and removal of temporary fencing customer job sites. This role ensures timely, high-quality service delivery while opering vehicles and equipment in compliance with safety standards. Fence Technicians maintain a strong customer focus, support the onboarding and training of new team members, and may step in to assist with lead responsibilities as needed to support daily operions.
Responsibilities:- Conduct daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition
- Check loads to ensure th truck has all merial (fence panels, poles, etc.) and tools needed to complete service tickets
- Conduct daily pre-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediely
- Opere fence vehicle to and from pre-designed work sites
- Unload all fence merials and install fence panels, with approprie tools, work site in accordance with pre-determined specificions. Loce, measure and mark locion for placement of panels & installion
- Coordine the workload and the efforts of the Fence Helper. Examine and inspect work progress, equipment & work site to ensure th specificions are met
- Meet with site superintendent (or other designed representive) to confirm work order. Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive additional instructions, changes to work locions, etc
- Record informion such as personnel, production and operional da on specified forms and submit to Fence Manager end of each shift
- Train Fence Helper on proper installion procedures, safety protocol, etc
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
- Valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL Class C).
- Excellent time management, customer service and communicion skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Sit while driving and stand while servicing products
- Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls
- Repe the same movements
- See details of objects th are less than a few feet away and also greer distance
- Speak clearly so customers can understand
- Understand the speech of another person
- Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them
- Walk up to 30 minutes a time without exertion
- Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling
- Lift up to 40lbs from your waist to your shoulders
- Lift 30lbs from the floor to your head

- Push 100lbs and pull 100lbs horizontally
