# **Fiber Technician – Data Center Project – Ohio**

We are currently seeking **Fiber Technicians** for an exciting **Data Center project in Ohio**. If you have experience working in mission-critical environments and are looking for a great opportunity with competitive pay, we want to hear from you!

### **Pay & Benefits**

• **$38.00 per hour**
• **$140/day Per Diem** (for qualified travelers)
• Overtime available based on project needs

### **Preferred Qualifications**

• Previous **Data Center experience** strongly preferred
• Experience with **fusion splicing and fiber termination**
• Knowledge of **single-mode and multi-mode fiber**
• Ability to **test, troubleshoot, and certify fiber** using OTDRs, power meters, and light sources
• Experience installing, dressing, routing, and labeling fiber optic cabling
• Ability to read and interpret **fiber optic schematics, splice diagrams, and blueprints**
• Experience with **high-count fiber cables** and structured cabling
• Knowledge of industry standards, quality control, and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

### **Requirements**

• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (if required)
• Must have basic hand tools and PPE
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
