Fiberglass Chopper Gun Technician

Job Summary:

The Shop Fiberglass Fabrication Technician shall be responsible for fabricating structures from structural FRP shapes. On the job training, will be provided to teach about FRP structures.

Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred; Spanish skills a plus but not required

Work Activities:

Taking measurements

Making cuts / drilling
laying out for cutting activities
Regular maintenance of equipment
Assisting another technician(s) with shop activities
Processing raw material for daily production
Requirements

High School diploma, minimum.

Fabrication skills
Experience with hand and other shop power tools
Staging raw material used in daily production
Work overtime as required on a job by job basis
Flexibility in adapting to plans to meet production schedules
Willing to travel on and offshore
Must have at least two year's experience working with Chopper Gun
This position requires some lifting in excess of 30lbs. This position requires working in tight spaces, moving parts that could be hot.
