Field Estimator and Shop Supervisor

Responsible for field measurements for refits, modifications, or fabrication of yacht furniture. This position will also require Hands-On Supervisor to lead our carpentry and refinishing team at the shop. You will balance direct task execution with team leadership, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal person leads by example, jumps into daily operations when needed, and guides staff to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Good communication for talking with clients and vendors
• High attention to detail.
• Must be well-organized with good communication skills, ability to use email and able to write up paperwork. Able to read blueprints
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Can read a tape measure
• Monitor active projects and fix bottlenecks quickly.
• Impeccable problem-solving skills
• Must have own tools, transportation and a valid driver’s license, and be legally allowed to work in the US.
• Quality control across all trades
• Enforce workplace safety rules and company policies at all times.
• Find ways to reduce project expenses, keeping overtime down
• Perform core daily tasks alongside team members to meet production or service goal
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, active environment and stand or move for long periods.
