Field Runner - Sunstate Remodeling

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Field Support Coordinator is the operational backbone of our active jobsites. This role exists to keep projects moving by handling the logistical and physical tasks that would otherwise slow down the Project Superintendent. The right person is self-directed, reliable to a fault, and takes genuine pride in a clean and organized work environment. Because this role regularly enters luxury client homes without the homeowner present, trustworthiness and professionalism are non-negotiable.
This is a field-based, mobile position. Expect to be on the road daily, moving between our warehouse, supplier locations, and multiple active jobsites across the Phoenix metro area.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Material Runs and Deliveries. Pick up materials from suppliers and vendors as directed by the Project Superintendent. Deliver to active jobsites accurately and on schedule. Confirm receipt and log deliveries in JobTread via smartphone.
• Jobsite Opening and Closing. Unlock and secure luxury client homes each day. Verify that all entry points are locked and alarm systems are armed when no crew is present. Handle keys and access codes with the discretion expected in high-value residential environments.
• Jobsite Cleanup. Maintain clean, organized, and presentable jobsites in accordance with Sunstate standards. Sweep and tidy work areas when delivering materials. Leave every site better than you found it.
• Trailer and Vehicle Operations. Tow the company trailer between our warehouse and active jobsites daily. Safely transport materials, equipment, and supplies. Conduct basic pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle or trailer issues immediately.
• Dumpster and Debris Management. Coordinate dumpster swaps and removal across active projects. Arrange debris pickup as needed and ensure waste management stays ahead of project needs.
• Small Punch List Items. Complete minor finish tasks and last-touch items as directed by the Project Superintendent. These are simple, hands-on tasks, not project management or trade work.
• Warehouse and Inventory Support. Help organize warehouse storage, stage materials by project, and maintain a clean, functional inventory space. Support the Project Coordinator with physical inventory tasks.
• Basic JobTread Updates. Log daily activities, delivery confirmations, and jobsite photos through JobTread on your company smartphone. Keep records current so the team has real-time visibility.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record (required)
• Demonstrated ability to tow a trailer safely (this is a hard requirement for this role). You will tow a company trailer daily.
• Physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling heavy and large jobsite materials (lumber, tile, cabinetry, and similar items), carrying 50 or more pounds regularly, and working outdoors in Arizona heat
• Smartphone proficiency with the ability to learn basic app-based logging functions (JobTread)
• Reliable transportation to the first jobsite of the day
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Professional demeanor when working inside or around luxury client homes
• 1-2 years of experience in construction, remodeling, or a trade environment preferred but not required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift or equipment operation certification
• Familiarity with residential remodeling materials and local suppliers
• Experience in a delivery, logistics, or field runner role

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $50,000-55,000 annually

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts. Start time is 6:00 AM. Early starts are expected and required in this role. Occasional Friday availability may be needed during high-volume project periods.
