Field Support Tech - Health and Fitness 50K plus to start (Metro Atlanta)
We are an Atlanta based company seeking a Field Support Technician for the Health and Fitness Industry. Our company’s history spans 27 years in the Atlanta market. We are committed to self-improvement strategies anchored by an advanced equipment management system.
We are seeking someone who shares our vision and has a high mechanical aptitude along with a fundamental knowledge of electronics. We need an individual who is a strategic thinker, well-spoken and presents themselves in a professional manor. Someone who desires a career path and is willing to pursue it. We are willing to train, but you must be willing to learn and grow. Applicants must have a record of a strong work ethic and experience with any of the following:
Repair work, installations, maintenance, general assembly, electronics work, automotive repair, HVAC service
Basic Job Description:
The Field Support Tech will install, repair and perform routine maintenance on all types of fitness equipment. This includes:
- Arriving on time to the shop or job site
- Setup and configuration of cardiovascular, and strength equipment
- Testing machinery, equipment, components and parts for defects and proper function
- Disassemble and reassemble various types of electro-mechanical units
- Record tech notes to accurately document problems with client equipment and resolution
- Interaction with clients to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical problems as well as communicate findings, resolution, and next steps
- Experience in installation, assembly, mechanical maintenance and repair work using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Must be able to follow company policy and Procedures.
- Be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift up to 75lbs
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Must have basic computers skills
- Present a neat and clean-cut appearance at all times
- A valid Georgia driver's license and a reasonable driving record
- Possess a high School Diploma or GED
- Must be willing to take a basic mechanical aptitude test
- Applicant must be willing to take a drug test and submit information for background check

Compensation: 50K plus, annually (starting, depending on experience)
