Field Technician

Tatley-Grund is a Pacific Northwest specialty contractor focused on building envelope restoration, waterproofing, concrete repair, deck coatings, sealants, and exterior renovations. For over 35 years, we've helped property owners protect and restore their buildings through quality craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork.

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our field team as Field Technicians.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Field Technician, you'll work alongside experienced crews performing a variety of exterior restoration and repair work on commercial, multifamily, and residential buildings.

Typical duties may include:

• Building envelope repairs (carpentry experience is a plus!)
• Waterproofing and sealant installation
• Deck and balcony coating systems
• Concrete and wood repairs
• Window and siding replacement
• Demolition
• Jobsite setup and cleanup
• Material handling and equipment operation
• Following company safety procedures

Every project is different, which means you'll have opportunities to learn new skills and gain experience in multiple trades.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• General carpentry knowledge or experience preferred
• Reliable transportation to assigned jobsites
• Ability to work safely as part of a team
• Ability to perform physical construction work, including lifting up to 50+ pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work at heights and properly use required fall protection equipment
• Able to communicate effectively in English, including reading and understanding safety information and job instructions and communicating with supervisors and crew members

Construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Candidates selected for hire will be required to complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements, including a drug screening.

Following a conditional offer of employment, Tatley-Grund may also conduct a background check. Background information will be considered in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law.
