JW Home Improvement is hiring experienced residential Field Technicians.

We have been serving homeowners in the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area for nearly 25 years. We are looking for skilled, dependable technicians who know residential repair and remodeling work and take pride in doing it right.

THE WORK

Our technicians handle a variety of residential projects, including:

Carpentry and trim

Drywall repair and finishing
Doors and windows
Flooring
Tile
Interior and exterior repairs
Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
General home repair and improvement work

This is a good fit for an experienced, well-rounded technician who can look at a residential repair, understand what needs to be done, and complete clean, professional work.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You should have solid hands-on experience in several residential trades. Just as important, you should be dependable, professional in customers' homes, and able to communicate with homeowners and our office.

Requirements:

Several years of hands-on residential repair or remodeling experience preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Appropriate hand tools for your trade
Ability to speak and read English sufficiently for job instructions, safety requirements, and customer communication
Ability to pass a background screening
Professional appearance and attitude
Reliable attendance

Compensation is based on experience, skill level, and the ability to work independently. Experienced multi-trade technicians are encouraged to apply.
