Fine Gardener’s Assistant

I’m seeking a talented and experienced fine gardener with a real passion for plants and gardens and an eye for detail to join my small business (established in 2001). I design, install and maintain beautiful environmentally friendly gardens in S.F. This position will be assisting me in the gardens as you learn the specifics of all my gardens which will eventually lead to independent and supervisory work in the future.

-Minimum 2 years of landscape maintenance experience.
-Solid plant id and pruning knowledge.
-Ability to communicate professionally with clients.
-Ability to identify and treat pests and diseases.
-Knowledge of drip irrigation and controllers.
-Valid CA drivers license and must have your own vehicle.

-May be willing to train a suitable candidate with less experience if background and abilities are compatible with the position.

This position is for 3-4 days a week depending on work load.
