Finish Blade Operator Needed

JW Civil is seeking an experienced Finish Blade Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Perform fine grading on subgrades, shoulders, base materials, and paving surfaces
Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and survey stakes to ensure proper elevations and slopes
Use electronic grade control systems to achieve precise final grades
Coordinate with surveyors, foremen, and superintendents to meet project deadlines
Conduct daily inspections on motor grader to ensure safe and efficient operation

Qualifications:
3 - 5 years of experience operating a finish blade in site development and road construction (CAT 140H, 140M models)
Understanding of site plans and specifications
Experience using GPS grading systems, Topcon preferred
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Working knowledge of construction site safety
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
