Hawaiian Design + Build is looking for Finish Carpenters who take pride in precise work, thoughtful details, and a job completed well. Based in Koloa, our team brings design and construction together on Kauai. We're hiring skilled carpenters to contribute to projects where the quality of the finishing work matters.

About the Role:

You'll perform finish carpentry and work with the construction team to bring project details to completion. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, understands the importance of accuracy, and follows through from preparation to final adjustments. You'll work on-site, primarily in the Koloa-Poipu area. Your starting pay will reflect your experience and demonstrated ability.

Key Responsibilities:

-Complete finish carpentry work with consistent attention to detail.
-Measure, fit, and install finish components accurately.
-Follow project drawings, specifications, and installation instructions.
-Prepare materials and work areas for assigned tasks.
-Check alignment, fit, and finish throughout your work.
-Coordinate with the construction team to resolve installation questions.
-Complete adjustments and finishing details before handing off work.
-Use tools safely and maintain an orderly work area.

Required Qualifications:

-Practical finish carpentry experience and the ability to demonstrate quality work.
-Accurate measuring, fitting, and installation skills.
-Ability to understand and carry out project instructions.
-Safe, competent use of tools needed for finish carpentry.
-Dependable attendance, clear communication, and follow-through.
-Ability to perform hands-on carpentry work on-site, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay and Benefits:

-W-2 Employment
-Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on experience.
-Company benefits are available. Specific benefits and eligibility will be discussed during hiring.
-Schedule: Full-time position, generally Monday through Friday, with hours based on project schedules.
