Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Maker

Busy custom fabrication shop in the San Fernando Valley is looking for skilled cabinet makers / finish carpenters / themed environment builders / museum exhibit builders with good finishing abilities, reliability, integrity and a strong work ethic.

We are seeking applicants with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Essential responsibilities:

• Ability to hold tight tolerances, follow directions and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate table saws, panel saws, routers, pneumatic tools and set up assembly fixtures.
• Must have personal hand tools and will be responsible for maintaining a clean working environment.
• The ability to fabricate curved, odd shaped, and over sized wood furniture of hardwoods, laminates and veneers.
• Availability to work a 4/10 work week schedule.

Physical requirements:

• The ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• The ability to stoop and crouch while working with equipment.
• Lifting and carrying loads of up to 50 lbs.
