Finish Carpenter

Panda Windows & Doors is seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to support the manufacturing of our custom luxury window and door systems.
This position is responsible for precision carpentry and finish work performed within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate has experience with detailed woodwork, accurate measurements, cutting, fitting, sanding, and finishing, and is comfortable working from production drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, shape, fit, and assemble wood components according to production drawings and specifications.
Perform detailed finish carpentry requiring accurate measurements and tight tolerances.
Fabricate custom wood components needed for window and door production.
Use saws, routers, sanders, drills, nail guns, and other woodworking equipment safely and accurately.
Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, cut lists, and production instructions.
Sand, trim, fit, and finish components to achieve a clean, professional appearance.
Verify dimensions and quality before releasing completed work to the next production stage.
Identify incorrect dimensions, damaged material, or other quality concerns and report them before proceeding.
Minimize material waste, errors, and rework.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
Coordinate with other production departments to keep projects moving through manufacturing.
Follow Panda Windows & Doors' quality standards, production procedures, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Finish Carpenter, Cabinet Maker, Millwork Carpenter, Woodworker, or similar skilled trade.
Experience in manufacturing, architectural millwork, cabinetry, windows and doors, or custom fabrication preferred.
Strong ability to read a tape measure and work accurately with fractions.
Ability to perform precise cuts and work within tight tolerances.
Experience with woodworking machinery and hand/power tools.
Ability to read shop drawings and production specifications.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to identify quality issues before material moves to the next production stage.
Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, kneel, and lift.
Ability to safely lift and move wood, materials, components, and tools.
Manual dexterity necessary for precision carpentry and finish work.
Ability to work safely in an active manufacturing environment.
Performance Expectations
The Finish Carpenter is expected to consistently produce accurate, clean, high-quality work that meets Panda Windows & Doors' manufacturing standards. Performance will be evaluated based on craftsmanship, dimensional accuracy, productivity, material utilization, quality, safety, and reliability.
