We are currently seeking experienced Finish Carpenters to join our growing installation team. This role focuses on the installation of custom millwork in high-end residential environments. Ideal candidates are skilled craftsmen who understand fine tolerances, can problem-solve in the field, and take pride in producing clean, precise, and professional results.
Job Description:
As a Finish Carpenter / Installer with Fineline Architectural Millwork, you will be responsible for the precise installation of custom millwork in luxury residential homes. You will work on a wide range of high-end projects, including cabinetry, custom doors and jambs, baseboards, tongue-and-groove walls and ceilings, wall paneling, hardware, trim and molding, stair components, mock-ups, layouts, windows, and other custom millwork installations.

Install high-end custom millwork including cabinetry, door jambs, doors, hardware, trim, baseboards, windows, moldings, paneling, stair components, tongue-and-groove walls and ceilings, mock-ups, and other custom carpentry projects to the highest standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise installation.
Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality, fit, and finish meet project requirements.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all job sites.
Take initiative, anticipate next steps, and problem-solve independently to keep projects moving efficiently.
Communicate professionally with clients and team members, representing Fineline’s commitment to craftsmanship and service.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience installing high-end millwork in luxury residential environments.
Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques, including the use of professional tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Own a full set of professional tools necessary for millwork installation (saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes, hand tools, lasers, etc.).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to travel to job sites across Orange County and Los Angeles.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work with precision.
Strong work ethic, self-starter mentality, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
Reliable, punctual, and professional with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of and commitment to on-site safety protocols, including completing weekly safety training.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in high-end luxury homes and estates.
Familiarity with specialized custom installations.
Knowledge of current trends, materials, and techniques in luxury millwork.
Ability to install complex architectural features with precision and care.
