Description
We’re looking to establish a working relationship with a skilled, independently established cabinetmaker or finish carpenter who takes pride in detailed work. Projects include kitchens, entertainment centers, home offices, bars, libraries, and custom built-ins.
Work may include fabrication at our Plain City facility and installations throughout Dublin, Powell, Upper Arlington, New Albany, and surrounding communities. Experience in both fabrication and installation is preferred, but we welcome tradespeople with strong capabilities in either area.
Types of Work
- Build and assemble cabinetry, face frames, doors, drawers, and related components.
- Read drawings, interpret dimensions, and prepare accurate layouts and cut lists.
- Install cabinetry, built-ins, crown molding, baseboards, fillers, and other finish trim.
- Scribe and fit cabinetry and millwork to walls, floors, and ceilings.
- Install and adjust hinges, drawer slides, and specialty cabinet hardware.
- Complete finishing details and punch-list work while protecting finished surfaces and clients’ homes.
- Demonstrated professional experience in cabinetmaking, finish carpentry, or cabinet installation.
- Strong measuring, layout, assembly, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to fit, alignment, and finished details.
- Ability to complete agreed project scopes with consistent workmanship.
- Reliable communication about availability, progress, and potential issues.
- Safe tool and equipment practices and clean, organized work areas.
- Reliable transportation to the shop and local project sites.
Working Arrangement
This opportunity is intended for an independently established tradesperson. Project scopes, timing, and compensation will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
