Pay rate
· $35.00 - $40.00 hourly, dependent on experience, plus overtime consistent with business needs and applicable law.
Full job description
La Strada Contracting is looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will have a work schedule of 7 am to 3:30 pm with some overtime and weekend work required, consistent with business needs.
Responsibilities
· Finishing concrete behind curb machine
· Ownership of finishing tools (trowels, floats etc.)
· Read grade hubs and set string line for curb machine
· Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written); Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
· Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors
· Ability to stand for long period of time, walk on uneven terrain, climb on/off equipment, lift as well
· Drive to jobsite following all safety posts and guidelines
Physical Requirements
·Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time and up to 7 hours per day, walk on uneven terrain, climb on/off equipment, lift up to 35 lbs.
Qualifications
· Must have a minimum of 5 years of concrete finishing behind a curb machine
Certifications
· CA Driver’s License
Location
In-person work at various job sites within an approximate 80-mile radius of our Lake Forest, CA, corporate office.
